2. Controller and Processor Roles
RDKREVENUE acts as a data controller for account, billing, domain registration, security, and support information used to manage our customer relationship. For data that customers host or process through our infrastructure, RDKREVENUE generally acts as a data processor acting on customer instructions.
3. Data Subject Rights
EU/EEA individuals may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and receive a portable copy of their personal data. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. We may need to verify identity before completing a request.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal data based on contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, and consent where required for optional communications or cookies.
5. Data Processing Agreement
Customers that require a Data Processing Agreement for EU/EEA personal data may request one through our contact page. The DPA describes processor obligations, subprocessors, confidentiality, deletion, and security controls.
6. International Transfers
When personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms. We also work to minimize data exposure and limit access to authorized personnel and subprocessors.
7. Retention and Deletion
Customer personal data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship and as needed for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations. Hosted data and backup data are removed according to service terms, backup cycles, and lawful retention requirements.
